Social Security Nevis

Social Security Nevis is a branch of the Social Security Board. It is a governmental office. The Social Security Board is a statutory body created by the Social Security Act No. 13 of 1977 as a body corporate enjoying perpetual session and having a common seal. It has the legal mandate to operate the Social Security Fund in the Federation of St. Christopher and Nevis. This Fund provides a variety of benefits for to those insured and their dependents. The responsibilities include, benefit provision, such as short and long term benefits and cash payments, financial management, which is managing the Social Security Fund, which is built from contributions and other income and so on, compliance and enforcement, and lastly, general administration.
