Nevis Financial Services Department

The Nevis Financial Services Department is a governmental corporate office under the Nevis' Ministry of Finance, to maintain and promote financial integrity, good governance and accountability, research and development and collaborations. The department is responsible for regulating and overlooking financial businesses operating within the island. These include, regulatory oversight for the authorization and licensing of companies and individuals conducting financial services in Nevis. Compliance monitoring is in charge of observing and ensuring these entities comply with the laws and regulations related to money laundering and terrorist financing. Another role is enforcement, taking action if the laws and regulations are no abided and supervision, to ensure all of the operations by these entities are sound and managed correctly.
