Morris Vanterpool Primary School
About
Located in the serene East End district of Anguilla, Morris Vanterpool Primary School (MVPS) stands as a beacon of educational excellence and community spirit. Established in 1959, the school was named in honor of Tr. St. Clair Morris Vanterpool, a distinguished educator who began his tenure as headmaster in April of that year. In 2021, MVPS unveiled a state-of-the-art campus, consolidating its facilities to provide a modern learning environment equipped with advanced resources to enhance student engagement and academic performance.
The school offers a comprehensive curriculum that emphasizes academic achievement, cultural awareness, and community involvement. Students actively participate in various extracurricular activities, including history and culture excursions to significant Anguillian landmarks, fostering a deep connection to their heritage. MVPS also encourages entrepreneurial spirit through initiatives like the ""Kidpreneurs Fair,"" where students showcase their creativity and business acumen, preparing them for future endeavors.
The school facility has a wheelchair accessible entrance and parking lot.
