Joshua Obadiah Williams Primary School
Joshua Obadiah Williams Primary School is a public primary school. It was renamed in the honor of the late Joshua Obadiah Williams, a former principal at the school. The school's mission is to foster a supportive and engaging learning environment, where students can develop their social, emotional, and most importantly their academic skills and knowledge. They aim to instill positive values and a love for learning in order for students to reach their full potential. The J.O. Williams Primary also offers a Mentoring, Advising, Guiding, and Instructing Children (M.A.G.I.C) program for students. This program is designed to for sixth graders, focusing on building and setting goals, conflict resolution, and substance abuse. The students have participated in various competitions, such as the St. Kitts & Nevis National Cooperative League, Ross University Science Lab Model Contest, which strengthens their creative skills and community ties. The school facility offers a wheelchair accessible entrance and there is also a large playing field for the students to engage in recreational activities.
