Gros Islet Street Party
Dauphin St, Gros Islet, St. Lucia
About
Every Friday night, the town of Gros Islet transforms into St. Lucia’s most electrifying street festival—where local flavor, music, dance, and Caribbean vibe collide. For over 50 years, revellers—both visitors and locals—flock to the narrow streets at sunset for sizzling grilled seafood, jerk chicken, lambi (conch), fresh corn, artisan vendors, and street bars pouring rum punch and Piton beer.
The music pulses through the air—soca, reggae, calypso and R&B—fueling dance in the streets under the stars. Whether you’re feasting, dancing, or just soaking in the energy, this free-spirited night promises an authentic taste of St. Lucian culture that lingers long after sunrise.
