EITS Cafe
About
Perched high in the Blue Mountains at 17 Mile Post, Newcastle, St. Andrew, EITS Café (short for Europe In The Summer) offers an inspiring farm-to-table dining retreat that harmonizes European technique with Jamaican soul. The café sources the bulk of its ingredients directly from its own Food Basket Farm and local neighboring growers, ensuring produce, herbs, and greens are harvested hours or even minutes before being served. Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, EITS embraces a menu of creative European–Jamaican fusion, including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options.
The setting is relaxed and rustic yet refined, with multi-level seating affording sweeping mountain views and a tranquil ambiance. Patrons enjoy reservations encouraged (walk-ins accepted when possible) and free off-street parking on-site. In addition, EITS supports a doorstep delivery option through its Food Basket arm—bringing the café’s fresh produce, salad boxes, and gourmet items to customers beyond the property.
Because of its farm-centric model, cool mountain climate, and creative culinary direction, guests benefit from bold, seasonal flavor combinations, high nutritional value, and a deeply immersive sense of place. In essence, EITS Café is more than a meal—it’s a sensory journey through Jamaica’s highland terroir, where freshness, innovation, and natural beauty unite.
