Charlestown Police Station

The Charlestown Police Station is a government office that is primarily responsible for maintaining law and order in the island of Nevis. Along with preventing and detecting crime, apprehending offenders within the jurisdiction. They are also apart of community engagement with residents and visitors, aiming to build strong positive relationships, encouraging them to report any suspicious activities in order to improve over-all safety. The police station, through it Traffic Department, is responsible for enforcing traffic laws and regulations. Specific responsibilities in this department, includes, licensing and vehicle requirements, road safety, traffic management and public awareness.
