Where to shop in Anguilla: sea salt, art and island craft
A small island with a real art scene and its own sea salt. What to look for and the shops to start with. Each with its own contact details.

Anguilla is a quiet, upmarket island, and its shopping is boutique and local rather than duty-free. For its size it has a real art scene, and a couple of genuinely local products worth carrying home.
What to look for
The island harvests its own sea salt, sold plain or infused with herbs and spice, one of the most Anguillian things to take home. Anguilla also has a cluster of art galleries showing island and Caribbean painters, potters and sculptors, better than a small island has any right to. Around them, the boutiques carry handmade jewellery, local craft and preserves.

Before you go
Galleries and boutiques keep their own hours on a small island, so it is worth ringing ahead. The number on each page is the shop’s own.
