Government Treasury
About
The Government Treasury Department in Antigua and Barbuda is a central unit within the Ministry of Finance, Corporate Governance and Public Private Partnerships, tasked with managing key aspects of the nation’s public finances. It is responsible for preparing the Government’s Public Accounts, ensuring that systems for authorising and examining government payments are maintained and followed, and supporting overall fiscal discipline and transparency in how public funds are collected and spent. As part of the broader ministry that oversees budgeting, economic planning and revenue collection, the Treasury plays an important role in the financial operations of the Government, working alongside departments such as the Financial Secretary’s Office and Inland Revenue to support the management of the national budget and government obligations.
